The Cavaliers 2001 is a drum and bugle corps that is based in Rosemont, Illinois. It is a founding member of Drum Corps International (DCI), which is a non-profit organization that governs and manages drum and bugle corps in North America. In 2001, The Cavaliers had a successful competitive season, winning the DCI World Championship with their show "Four Corners". The show was a tribute to the geometric shapes and forms found in the four corners of the United States, with music selections from a variety of composers, including Leonard Bernstein and Aaron Copland. The Cavaliers' signature uniform consists of a white jacket, black trousers, and a shako (a type of military hat) with a white plume. The corps is known for its precision marching and innovative choreography, and is considered one of the most successful drum corps of all time.
